Galen Edward Pavone

In 1977, my wife, 2 year old daughter and I moved to Morrisonville, New York to begin our life as a young family. I quickly became aware of the fire department and the critical roll it played. Not only did it provide protection and safety, the department was the center for social and community activities. Sunday breakfasts, Election Day dinners and summer festivities were all organized by the department. After gaining membership and completing NYS firefighter training, I proudly served until we relocated to a new city.
