Daniel Russ Wilson
Raised in a family of three generations of AZ police officers (parents, brothers, nephews) I departed and joined the USAF. An eight year veteran of the USAF where I also obtained a bachelors degree in law enforcement. Married 32 years to my wife with two grown sons. A brief time in the private sector ended when the towers came down in 2001. The calling was too strong and instead of entering LE, I opted to be a firefighter. After 20 years of being a Denver FF, a technical rescue technician, and 8 concurrent years as a rescue squad member for FEMA Colorado Task Force One, I now hold the rank of Captain and have plans for one more level of promotion.
Story of your Coin: The coin was given to me by a friend who obtained his own coin for being a long time volunteer firefighter.
